Cardlogs is never not playing. On the whole he knows what he's doing obv. He uses wa/wb in some weird spots though imo.

cardlogs will make money but he is never someone i worry about as his tight by the book style makes him relatively straight forward to play.

cardlogs is world class at picking up a big hand vs my big but slightly smaller hand after I've been stealing his blinds all night and I think he's finally playing back at me which he never is. I think he's too tight but almost all the hands I have seen him play to showdown I thought were played pretty well, I certainly can't recall any I thought were just plain bad, and after I finish playing I can always find tons of hands I think I played bad.

When I was playing 5/10 out of boredom I think in like Fall or something I thought Teejayblah blah whatever was pretty tough and played well postflop so I generally didn't bother sitting at his tables.

I don't play that much so I don't know who else is a "regular" or not. I think there's some guy like dbeckham and marchinsomething that seemed to play okay, I didn't play many hands with them and the few I did play didn't stick out really, I just happened to notice them pop up on like all of my tables whenever I play.

yeh someone tell me why i suck so much: saywhat_agan. Im really debating quiting and ive wasted like 4 years on this stupid game. Although i play more then is humanly possible I go through swings that are insane. I'm at the point where im questioing EVERY single move I make so let me know how big a donk I am and what I can do. People stand out at tables to me Imissparty flaremvp, dr kox is aite beckham's solid.

Here are my notes on you, saywhat:

-Seems decent
-Gets a little spewy post-flop
-Seems willing to call down with any high ace hand, though, even when it's probably a bad idea
-Tricky player. Raised a limper with J8s pre-flop, then raised a flop of 7hTs2c, then check/checked a turn of Kd, then bet out on the river when an ace fell
-Tends to be too aggressive, but will stop being aggressive with nothing when he gets to the river, unless of course he thinks he can bet a scare card

I said "seems decent", so my impression isn't that you suck.

omg that's you!
You're at EVERY table I ever play at. Not that you're a fish or anything but I just see you playing a lot. There's nobody with a screenname just like yours right? Like there's TableATM and BrokenATM and mixing them up is reallllly bad because they are totally different.

wow now i want to bring a couple grand over to stars just to be included in threads like these

21/16 is TIGGHHHTTTT. i first had stats like that in 6max when i came in from a much more loose passive site and a largely full ring background (no PT befoer that). Im now at like 26/19 if u keep finding +EV situations to play hands those numbers will rise chez, u ll find em eventually. to answer mcgahees qusetion i think there is little correlation in playing tighter causing less swings even though thats a bit counterintuitive. I think u pass up too many +EV opportunites (iso 3bets ect) to make up for it but making fewer high variance plays. my swings as a nit vs a lagtag havent been much different truthfully, but alot of that is as ur play closer to optimal ur winrate should rise causing less variance. And i actually think having the only hands u put many bets in with getting cracked causes MORE tilt than if ur playing more hands and winning and losing pots frequently and not as reliant on ur one big hand an hour holding up since ur picking up more pots (and probably bigger pots IMO) without showdown with the lagtag style.

Yea, I haven't had trouble with this dude. I've played 563 hands and have beat him for 5 BB+ in one of them, and 3-5 BB in four of them. Maybe it takes a nit to own a nit... Orrr, maybe I just haven't played him enough, and should avoid his ass.
