Re: OOT - Create a Sandwich for my Bakery/Cafe and WIN!!
Ok it seems it is time for me to win this contest, I have two entrants:
1. Roast Beef, Mozzarella Cheese, and Peter Lugar Steak Sauce. Heat the Roast beef and Mozzarella Cheese, toast the roll, add room temperature steak sauce and you are good to go. I prefer making this sandwich with lettuce and tomato as well but some people I know prefer it without to this is optional. 2. I call it the Gobbler. This is a Thanksgiving tradition for me and would be a great sandwich to add to a deli menu. Take a long hero roll and add to it in this order mayo, Carved Turkey (not the boars head stuff but the turkey you eat at thanksgiving), then stuffing, then cranberyy sauce. This sandwich rules and I wish I had one right now. Pm me when I win so I can decide on a name OP. |

Re: OOT - Create a Sandwich for my Bakery/Cafe and WIN!!
I'm a huge fan of Reuben's.... just rye bread, swiss cheese, thousand island dressing, corned beef, and sourkraut.
Also, Monte Cristos are amazing, but much more work and you'd need a deep fryer. |

Re: OOT - Create a Sandwich for my Bakery/Cafe and WIN!!
My favorite sandwich to get at a deli where I used to live was a spicy chicken cutlet (referred to as buffalo chicken) with bacon covered with melted mozzarella.
I have a hard time imagining how anyone could not love this sandwich. I think putting it on a garlic roll would be a nice touch too. |

But it is pretty hard to eff up the classic chicken/bacon/cheese trifecta. |

Try TKO's tried, tested and true hangover cure: banana, peanut butter, and honey sandwich on white bread.
Backup idea: The Grilled 3-Cheese: brie, cheddar, and goat. Backup idea #2: apple and brie. |
