I ordered the 42,000 FPP pokerchips.com set from Stars a week or so ago and have just approved a final copy of the proof.
Here is what I got: ![]() |

Jeff, I like the 2nd inlay the best. The chip colors look great...Not very pokerlike though, not that that is a bad thing, very Hawiian looking if that makes sense. Flourascent.

The fish skeleton is AWESOME and MUST stay! LL HAS SPOKEN! [rolling thunder in background]
I definately like #1. The chip edgespots are good except for the red, I agree with losing the orange. What about a medium green? Probably doesn't work with the light color.... green and yellow? green and black? |

Heh, I don't know about the skeleton- it is kind of funny though. It kind of makes "Sly's" a little harder to read, though Maybe we can incorporate it a little differently.
Do you agree that the denominations are really too small to be useful? I am now considering whether I can use the image on one side and the denomination on the other- the design posted earlier made me think of that. I also am going to try two shades of yellow on the black chip rather than the purple to see if I like that better. |

Oooh, thanks for the pic. The edgespots look much better in real life than in the proof.

Looking at that pic, I see that that person got different edgespot patterns. I'd have thought that would make the set look less cohesive, but it really doesn't.
That almost makes me want to switch my $5 chip to have only one edge spot color with peach on the red, and the $100 chip to have gold on the black, leaving the others as dual color. |

I just had a REALLY good run at the table today, so I'm thinking of adding 2 more colors- $.25 and $1 chips so I can play cash. If I do, what color are $.25 chips typically?
For the $1 I was just going to do a simple white with black edgespots, but I have no clue on the $.25s. |

Casinos don't use a 25 cent chip so there is no official color. Lots of times its grey/silver so it kind of looks like a quarter. Other people mentioned that if your $1 is blue then make the quarter white or vice versa. |

Ok, I think this is the Final Proof. Any objections before my final approval?
