Re: Best Preflop Chart?
Spend the $ like we all did. It is well worth it. Look on ebay if you want a used copy I guess but just about everyone here has it.

Re: Best Preflop Chart?
There is far more value in SSHE than just the hand charts. That book has paid for itself 100 times over. It is money well spent. Make the investment - you'll be glad you did.

Re: Best Preflop Chart?
I used to be this way, but I love it when people want to make thousands of dollars at poker but scoff at the requirement of buying a $20 to learn how to do so.

Re: Best Preflop Chart?
Heck, just play some poker, clear some free bonuses and order some books with points. Buddy up with some friends and share/trade/borrow books.

Re: Best Preflop Chart?
SSHE is over-rated nowadays imho. Still it won't hurt to read it.
Yao's chart is petty good. |

We are the federales, you know the mountain police.
Where are your starting hand charts. Charts, we don't need no stinkin charts. That said, buy the fricken book. It will help your game, and Ed needs the money, because all the Corona's aren't gone yet. |

Re: Best Preflop Chart?
I won't even start about the irony of posting on the publishers website, coincedentally a place where the author of the book used to post, about content of a book you don't feel like buying.

Re: Best Preflop Chart?
i liked abdul jalib's one when i begun:
http://poker.betfirms.com/holdempreflop-abdul.shtml that text also contains good stuff about other aspects of the game. needless to say, any hand chart has to be adjusted depending who you play against. i usually play tighter in ep and looser in lp than abdul recommends. |

What is the best preflop starting hand requirements chart (online) that you guys know about? i know there is one in SSHE but I dont feel like buying it [/ QUOTE ] Translation: I don't know what I am doing and I don't want to spend $30 on a book that will pay for itself once I learn what it is that I am doing. I can say with full confidence that without the important concepts that I have learned from this book that I would not be winning money playing SSHE. Also, back that book up with The Theory of Poker and actually study what those books contain and you'll be well on your way. |
