Fold PF
Fold Flop I dont know about the turn shove. What was your read on him, considering he raised from MP1 ? |

Re: $20 Party Poker Final Table
Turn shove is defensible if you think he has a reasonable shot to show up without an ace. Easy fold preflop (or reraise if you want to resteal). Flop, either lead or check/fold.

Re: $20 Party Poker Final Table
Villain's going to shut down on the turn if he doesn't have an ace. If he does have an ace, he's not folding on the turn. So, now you're here, I think check, see if you get your make your draw perhaps shove if he bets weak, perhaps call if he gives you the odds, perhaps shove river if you think he'll fold JJ.
That's once you're here. I like the hand so much that I'm resteal shoving pre-flop agaisnt anyone I've seen raise fold or anyone who's autoraising if folded to them in LP. Edit: to say that villain is MP1, so I'm resteal shoving pre-flop if I've seen him raise/fold. |

Re: $20 Party Poker Final Table
Weak plays. I don't know what is worse, calling a raise preflop with 98 out of position, or calling postflop with just a pair of nines.

Re: $20 Party Poker Final Table
I like the preflop and flop call, assuming you've got some kind of read that says he's aggressive preflop and prone to c-betting. The question is the turn shove. What are you hoping he lays down? With this line, I think he calls with Ax or TT-KK. I think I play passively here, and hope to hit my free card. But.... if you check the turn, and he shoves, what do you do?

Re: $20 Party Poker Final Table
I think this is a good resteal hand, and would raise it preflop. Since you called, I think you have to lead this flop, representing an A and just take it down quickly. Fold if he reraises.
