Default Re: who has dell 30\" monitor

I've had mine for a while (6 months?) and absolutely love it. 12 re-sized tables fit without much problem and 9 with very little re-sizing.

Id never go back to a smaller monitor.

ZOMG... $1049 is a sweet deal for one of these. I am probably going to order one tonight. Wahoooo! Also... people forget this thing can be as good as a 30" HDTV as well with the right hardware, its a steal.

Don't forget the right hardware costs like $500, right?

That should be taken into consideration when purchasing this vs. 2 smaller monitors.

Humm... No. Any GPU capable of driving the 30" is capable of HDTV output and a HD capture device is typically under $200, closer to $100.

I gots one.

It's not too big. It's almost perfect. I say almost since I can fit 9 FTP tables on it with just the slightest bit of overlap. I'd really love like a 40" one where I can fit 12 tables but w/e.

It is a really really sick monitor. Well worth it for me.

[/ QUOTE ]

Pics please. I'm thinking about selling my duals and getting one... how bad is the overlap?
