Hero insta-calls, villain is 68/36 and i have AA on a not too scary flop. I'd expect to be ahead most of the time here.

What are his AF stats?
Whilst he is too loose and too aggressive PF, his stack would suggest that he isn't a complete moron. The problem that we have is that he probably knows what we've got. If I'm reasonably sure that someone has an overpair (based on PF raises), I'll push there with a set because I know it will be called - and it's useful for when I do it with a draw. He could have weaker hands but again, if he's not a complete moron, he should know that we like our hand and probably won't fold. Having said that I think I may still call because there are lots of combo draws possible on that flop. Without those I fold and wait. If he wants to play like that then hit a hand better than 1 pair and double up. |
