Is SNGPT ever wrong?
I made this push because I thought it would be +EV in SNGPT and it was. In SNGPT it is +.5 EV against average opponents and my opponents were very typical. In SNGPT if I make both the blinds loose and the other two average, then it is still +.3 EV
But after thinking about it, I have a hard time believing this hand is EV with 4 people left to act behind me. Is it possible that SNGPT has errors in it? Or is this in fact +EV? thanks! kinger Stack sizes: Hero: $4595 CO: $3390 Button: $3745 SB: $1595 BB: $1675 300/600 Pre-flop: (5 players) Hero is UTG with 3h; Td; Hero raises all-in $4595, 3 folds, BB calls all-in $1675. Uncalled bets: $2320 returned to Hero. Flop: Kc; Kd; 6d; ($2875, 0 player + 2 all-in - Main pot: $4850) Turn: 2c; ($2875, 0 player + 2 all-in - Main pot: $4850) River: 9h; ($2875, 0 player + 2 all-in - Main pot: $4850) Results: Final pot: $2875 BB shows Qc Ah Hero shows 3h Td |

Re: Is SNGPT ever wrong?
Your stack size is the only thing that matters here, at least as far as pure mathematical EV goes.

Re: Is SNGPT ever wrong?
You are horrendously misapplying SNGPT. Rely less on it and more on common sense.

Re: Is SNGPT ever wrong?
Sngpt is wrong all the time though not in this specific case. This is user error.

Re: Is SNGPT ever wrong?
Pushing UTG with junk maybe mathmatically slightly +ev, but thats going to be only just and its primarily due to your stack size. Use common sense first, and SNGPT to confirm your thoughts. It even says in the tutorial if an action is close he advocates folding.

Pushing T3o against adjusted calling ranges is -1.1% e: This in no way argues for a call or fold. This is simply what SNGPT tells you to do |
