60$ vs 109$ SnGs?
Planing the new year right now, but don't really know what my aims are...
Playing 8 Tabling 60$ SnGs on Stars right now and i think, i can stay at 15% ROI longterm (17-18% ~2k SnG). 100$ SnGs on Stars are really tough [censored] and i don't think i can beat them 8[ Thinking about playing 109$ SnGs on party, but i think, my roi would decrease to somewhere 6-10% and 6 tabling is max. so all in all my hourly wouldn't really change. On Stars i can only do 1 thing to get a higher hourly, play more tables, on party i could rise in limits. So what would other players advice me? Stay at the limit, which i beat quite well and eventually add more tables if i can. or try move up in limits on party? well my aim for next year would be about 70k$ from sngs any advice? |

Re: 60$ vs 109$ SnGs?
There difference is somewhat noticable. It mostly depends on who is in your sit and go. If it is more than half grinders than it will suck. Btw, I don't think a 15% ROI is sustainable at the 55s; atleast on stars.

Re: 60$ vs 109$ SnGs?
Slightly off topic, but I 6 table 27 turbos on Stars and have been getting 18-20% ROI. When I take shots at the 60 turbos I've been getting much worse results. I realize this is over a small sample size, but how much of a difference is there between the 27's and 60's? Between 60's and 114's?
As for HoRRoR, I would take shots at the 109's. Thinking longterm that would be better for your game. |

Only you know your abilities (and maybe not even you, but that's another conversation). If you truly think you'll make the same at the $60s as at the $109s, I'd stay at the $60s. The swings will be far less painful.

Re: 60$ vs 109$ SnGs?
You 8 table the 60s at 18% and you only plan to make 70k?
If you only played 1000 SNGs per month (which is a breeze 8 tabling turbos), you'd clear over 130k just in winnings. Forget fpp value. |

Re: 60$ vs 109$ SnGs?
playing around 600-800 sngs per month, well mostly 600, than 800

Re: 60$ vs 109$ SnGs?
well I can honestly say that a 15% ROI at the 60s is NOT possible long term.
As for the 109s I've tried a couple of them and you still see some mistakes being made. Ive seen you play and I believe you can achieve a reasonable ROI but It might not be the most profitable level. |
