(NLTRN ) Hand against my little brother, how is my line?
Played a NLHE HU match against my brother this morning. Up until this hand he had been playing very weak/tight, and I had been taking down like 70% of the pots. In the last couple of hands I felt he wanted to play back at me.
Big blind is t100 Him (Button): t13000 Me (BB) : t17000 Preflop: I am BB with 4[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]5[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] He completes, I check. Flop: (pot is t200) 4[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]5[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]7[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] I bet t100, he raises to t200, I raise to t700, he calls. Turn: (pot is t1600) 7[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] I think a while and check, he bets t300, I call. River:4[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (pot is t2200) I check, he bets t100, I call. Comments on my line? |

Re: (NLTRN ) Hand against my little brother, how is my line?
Guys, this match is taken a lot more seriously than if it was for $10k.
This match was about honor. Losing the match is like the worst poker beat that could happen to me, and my brother felt pretty much the same. |

It doesnt matter how seriously it is taken if he gives you 22:1 on the river clearly this is play money.
