QQ = 4th nuts, am I good here?
1/2 no limit cash 9 handed
Hero starts the hand with ~$400 Villian has ~180 Hero is dealt QQ in SB Villian is MP2 and limps. A few more limps to Hero's SB and he raises to 12. Folds to Villian who calls, and everyone else folds. Flop: 7 J J Pot: ~30 Hero bets $15, Villian calls Turn J Pot ~60 Hero bets $30, Villian raises to $60, Hero calls. River- 4 Pot $180 Hero checks, Villian bets all in for ~$90, Hero ??? I realize I have the 4th nuts here. I want to call but I'm unsure what I'm beating and what beats me. I feel the only J that he could be calling with is like QJs or J10s. I can't see any pairs lower than 7 doing this, maybe 8s-10s but im not sure. I also don't know if this guy is limping mp2 with AA or KK and then just calling a raise. What would you put him on and how would you play the hand? I will reveal what happened after I hear some responses. |

I would bet more on the flop
Turn is fine Shove the river yourself for value as played, insta call |

Yeah, I didnt think it was too bad as played. Another contributing factor was that I raised preflop the past 3 hands at that point. So I figured worse pairs would definitely limp call me pre here.

Re: QQ = 4th nuts, am I good here?
Well, I called and villian showed AA. I think I had to call the river allin, I'm just curious as to if there was any point where I should have reevaluated and decided that I could be beat and try to slow it down or something. I felt the decision point was on the turn allin. If I thought i was beat there,I think I should fold to that bet, and if I think I have the best hand I should make steps towards getting him all in.
