Not so hot flop for 44 blind situation
Preflop: Hero is SB with 4[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 4[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]. Button raises, Hero 3-bets, 1 fold, Button caps, Hero calls. Flop: (9 SB) A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], J[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 9[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 players) Villain is a little loose preflop, and very aggressive post flop. I think the chances of him folding this flop are nil, and I also think the chances of him raising this flop are high -- probably around the order of 65-75%. I think an argument can be made for giving up on the hand already. |

Re: Not so hot flop for 44 blind situation
most of the time you have a two outer and the rest of the time he has a ten outer, how is this not a super duper easy fold?

Re: Not so hot flop for 44 blind situation
I think another argument can be made for folding preflop.... I don't know why people feel the need to 3-bet these low PP's. I suppose if BB is real tight, and Button plays poorly preflop, AND has been stealing too much then maybe OK. OOP and basically any board without a 4 not looking so hot for us makes this a fold.

Bet fold or check fold - we're first [/ QUOTE ] " I think the chances of him folding this flop are nil" doesn't this answer your question? |

Re: Not so hot flop for 44 blind situation
Given your description of button postflop, fold preflop.
