Villain's first orbit, no history. Did I bet too much on the turn, considering there wasn't a draw on the flop? What's your line on the river against unknown?

OK let's think this thru;

There are no draws worth talking about.
He will never fold a 5.
He very rarely has a 2.
Since he's an unknown and it's a blind battle there's no reason to expect him to fold top pair.
If he has a pp then either he will not fold bc he has an overpair or a set, or you are ahead.

So why are you betting?
