Fold a boat? over 300bb deep
(cross-posted from uNL)
CO is 47/7/1.7 over 120 hands. His style is loose passive PF but he has exhibited solid post-flop play and even some creativity on turn and river. Haven't gotten involved with him personally but players have been paying his big hands off. Despite his stats I have him tagged as a thinking player. Re: Fold a boat? over 300bb deep
so a thinking player c/c's flop and turn on a very drawy board with top or 2nd set then c/r's the river.... i think not.
Poooosh, your so far ahead of the range of these 25nl kids who think tips and overpairs are the nuts. |

I'd sooner say: push.

Re: Fold a boat? over 300bb deep
Easy push. He isn't open limping TT/JJ from the CO so you're only beat by 66. Any 6 or a worse boat calls.

Re: Fold a boat? over 300bb deep
Never ever ever fold this. PUSH. If he misplayed a flopped set, so be it and pay the man off. Simple rule of full houses -- the only time it is o.k. to fold a boat is when there are two pairs on the board and you have the underfull.

worse boat? the dude is on a pure bluff here, or has JT played really badly.

Re: Fold a boat? over 300bb deep
There's no way you should fold this hand. You should push over the top of his raise.
If I recall correctly, there are only 3 hands that beat yours, and he hasn't given you any reason to believe he has one of them. |

If we think we think his range mostly consists of pure bluffs why are we pushing?

If we think we think his range mostly consists of pure bluffs why are we pushing? [/ QUOTE ] uhhh cause we have a boat where it is extremely unlikely villain has us beat, plus he will call w/ any 6 or sixes full and sometimes worse. |
