Kurosh - I feel your pain at getting beat by morons. It happens to us all. I havent won in 2 weeks and I posted here to vent and see what kind of response I would get from fellow pros.

Guess what? Rundownhouse came on saying that I can't play.
I too have challenged him to heads up. But I am going to guess that a splineless moron like him who can do nothing constructive on a forum unless its designed to make him sound great will just chicken out.

Didn't see this thread initially. I agree 100% with you!

I have played at many other poker sites, online and b&m, and have experienced good times and bad times - as we know it...the variance.

Reading on this forum and other forums about the no rake WPEX, I figured that I'd give it a try. Well I been playing poker, lots of poker, let me just say for well over ten years, and I've never had such "bad luck" in my life. I mean bad luck beyond belief. How about getting beat by four of a kind twice within a span of five minutes? Many other incredible weird beats also.

What also bothered me is virtually every single time I had a rolled up high pair, virtually EVERY SINGLE TIME, no matter what I bet, all the players would fold, virtually every single time. Even when I checked, they folded. That is almost impossible. It was almost as though I was playing with five other players at the table who knew my down cards.

Also, not one single time was I called with the nuts. Not once! Way too many coincidences here. I could go on with specific hands but I think the point has been made. I wish I was kidding about all this because rake free poker is a great concept.

The following is only speculation on my part, but I've been thinking about this for a few days and can't shake these thoughts. Is no rake, no profit for WPEX, "too good to be true?" Is this all a big con job by the owners of WPEX? You know like sit a real player down at the table with a table full of house bots, and take his money as quick as possible. Doesn't do much good getting all the rake back on Monday when your losses far exceed the rakeback.

There's no way I'm ever going to play at WPEX again. You got to wonder why they don't seem to grow despite having no rake? Maybe the story I illustrated is the reason - seems to me like it's a con site rather than a poker site. Maybe no growth due to others experiencing what I experienced? And please...no comments about variance...I know exactly what variance is...this in my opinion was not variance...it was thievery!
