Re: TT utg gets 3bet and flops FD
Easy cap preflop, let CO put 4 bets in preflop, you have an equity edge.
Flop I like a check/raise. Turn as played I like a bet/call down. That is, bet and call one more back to you and check/call the river. Edit: Actually with average 2/4 opponents I'd just bet/fold, bet/fold. |

I've got to run to an appointment, but here's the turn: Preflop: Hero is UTG with T[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], T[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]. Hero raises, 4 folds, CO calls, Button 3-bets, 2 folds, Hero calls, CO calls. Flop: (10.50 SB) 5[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 6[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 3[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (3 players) Hero checks, CO checks, Button bets, Hero calls, CO folds. Turn: (6.25 BB) 9[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 players) [/ QUOTE ] check-call it down (facing one bet). bet riv if it checks through. you won't get much out of worse hands from Button.. so let him continue to push his hand. |

The turn is a classic Clarkmeister, lead it. Unless he's a maniac I fold to a re-raise.

Shutdown if a [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] falls on the turn. If it checks though bet any non- [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] and check if you make a flush. [/ QUOTE ] Shillx - why should we shut down on a [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] turn? If I've done the math correctly, a [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] turn moves us from ahead 20/behind 24/tied 1 hands for the range I used to ahead of 25/behind 20 hands. |

Re: TT utg gets 3bet and flops FD
Well you are now in WA/WB mode. If your hand is good right now it will be good at showdown. If you are behind you are drawing dead. Why bet?

Thanks for the response Brad. I misinterpreted what you were saying.

Re: TT utg gets 3bet and flops FD
Definitely check-raise the flop and lead the turn if he just calls. Even if getting 3-bet by button isn't so bad at this point. He could be on A-big with A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] and might get a free card (which is bad, but these spots are tough to play OOP).
Since you didn't check-raise the flop, I think I check-call the turn and river. I'm happy to get to showdown quietly. You can argue for a check-call on the turn and then a donk on the river if you really think you can fold to a raise and that villain will call with a no-flush, but I'd rather check the river and hope he checks behind. |
