I sent them an email, here is their response:

Hi XXXXXX,

Unfortunately we are unable to make any withdrawals back to Neteller/E-wallets or credit cards, however, allowed funds will be returned to our players via cheque by DHL, accordingly.

If you have any further queries, please do not hesitate to contact me.

Kindest regards

Yeah, to not give people a warning is complete B.S.

No doubt.. We need to track how these companies treated us so that when online poker is legal again they don't get our business..

Hopefully they process the e-wallet cashouts.

I made a partial cashout last night and just received it in Neteller.

I wish I would have taken it all out.

Dear forum members,

Under any other circumstance, absolutely we would endavour to give as much notice as possible and we apologise to all our US players for the short notice. However, this decision was made in the light of the ban and further to the legal advice we have received, we had to close all our US operations asap.

As you can imagine with the number of accounts to be closed, we now have a mommoth task of refunding everyone. we will refund you as quickly as possible, hopefully sooner than the 3-4 weeks time frame but we wanted to give you a realistic time frame.

With regards to the rakebacks, we have put all rakebacks into our US players accounts just before we had to close them. All US players should therefore have this balance within their accounts and this balance will be sent to them via check.

The ban has many implications for us all and we sincerely apologise to all our US players for any inconvenience caused

I think you should fire whoever was giving you that legal advice. This bill isn't even a law yet. Nor is there anythign in there that would even suggest it would be illegal for you to transfer funds into our Neteller accounts.

What the frig is really going on over there?

Reason numero uno (of many) why I will not return to a Crypto site, even if they open up again.

Ryan -

If your decision was based on legal counsel, then you need a new legal team.

In the United States, a Bill does not become Law and is not enforceable until it is signed by the President. This Bill still has not been signed.

I have paid tens of thousands of dollars in rake to your site and I am appalled by the way you have treated your customers.

It would have been very simple to send an email to all U.S. players stating that you have decided to ban US players from the site and will lock accounts as of a certain date. Then allow players to cash out via their preferred method until that date. Checks for all remaining balances would then be issued after this date.

Instead, your site/lawyers overreacted and created hard feelings that will be difficult if not impossible to mend when you eventually reopen to the U.S. market.

Do I have to remind everybody that this decision was not made by InterPoker, but rather by Cryptologic/Ecash, their backend provider? Cryptologic, as a publically traded firm, did an immediate cut-and-run, and didn't really give their clients (InterPoker, SunPoker, etc.) a choice in the matter.

You're just shooting the messenger when you get mad at InterPoker.
