For those who still want to have their cake and eat it, and who will never believe that this thread, and the Internet Bonus forum (as it relates to casinos) are killing bonuses for good, I have one word for you:

Denmark.

The ultimate example, and living proof of how over sharing = death.

I'm sure there were a couple of thousand Danish bonus hunters who were really happy that some guy made a TV program about bonuses, and they watched it, and they profited from it.

And then there are the rest; tens of thousands of Danish wannabe bonus hunters who can't get a single worthwile bonus anywhere, because of the same TV program.

sentiments like this are stupid. party isn't setting up a promo like this with the intention of only a few people doing it. if that was the case it would be account specific. for whatever reason, they think it's a good idea and that they will make money off it in the long run. it wasn't exactly a secret, it was on their website. post away.

I swear, people must be retarded if they don't think PARTY WANTED LOTS AND LOTS OF PEOPLE TO SIGN UP AND PLAY that's why they only made it 1hr for 3 days. Otherwise why advertise it ALL OVER THE WEBSITE instead of direct marketing. I don't doubt that there may have been technical problems due to unforseen massive demand, and they put it on hold rather than have it crash with 100k players on the site. do ucy?

And let's face it, when it comes to gamblers, the winners don't quit when they get ahead - many of them just Matusow up to higher limits/games and lose it back, the other people quit while behind or go busto - either way they can't handle the variance. The smart +EV crowd here is such a small minority of players - heck, why aren't you out card-counting right now? Legal in most areas.

$1-2k and then raise-it-up to $10k/hand when we were cutting to Aces. Takes months to master that little trick but oh-so-very lucrative at 51% EV on those hands. Too bad I can't go back to certain casinos/countries...

But certainly never that high just for 'fun.' That's what craps is for!
