NL50 - Hit my set... how do I extract.
Villain is 32/9/1 over 500. He's to loose/aggressive preflop. I've seen him do funky stuff like slowplaying Aces after a pf raise and reraise a 3BB pf raise to 50BB with AQo.
How's my line, given the extremly safe flop? Re: NL50 - Hit my set... how do I extract.
i like c/c'ing on a board this dry, the only way you get action is if he has an overpair or underset with the way you played it.
If you do donk the flop, then just call his raise and crai the turn. |

call the raise, check to him on the turn [let him bluff more], then push the rest of your money in

I like a check call too HU on this board.

If this guy was a 52/2/1.0 player, do we lead 3 bet all in or c/c flop?

Re: NL50 - Hit my set... how do I extract.
I'd try the stackadonk (call flop intending to checkraise push the turn) against any opponent in this spot.

Re: NL50 - Hit my set... how do I extract.
flop lead is fine. after the 3bet, you can either RR or call. on a dry board like this, you can consider calling
if you call, then lead turn or CRAI. if this board were very draw-ish against an opponent with a very wide range, i would definetly bring down the flop hammer. or, if this villians actions clearly define his hand as QQ+ (it doesnt here) and hes garanteed attached, i like to hammer big as well. in this case, i feel the lead-call flop is best, but there is nothing wrong with your line my one concern with C/Cing flop and bombing turn is that it may let villian off too easily. C/C flop lead turn probably would be fine, but i think getting villiains money in the center is nice with a flop lead. you would miss a Cbet bluff on the flop tho |
