pot ended up at 3805, which i thought was pretty good going from my 1500 starting.

For one, I think playing that hand out of position was a wrong move in the first place. You get a good draw and now your out of position with a big pot brewing. You'll probably get called from someone who has two pair. I would check\call the turn so as i'm to heavly invested into the pot.

And hell no you better not check/call the turn, you hit your $$$ card.
