OK, that's 34 people who for sure want in, so with the people who've volunteered to fill in if necessary, we definitely have enough for a full tourney. We still need one more captain, though, so if you're free this Sunday afternoon, say, 4 pm EST, then stand up and prepare to champion a squad.

Next up, posting your name in this thread is good, but what you need to do to get on the official draft list is to submit your $30 entry to MrWookie via Stars transfer. That needs to be in by Sunday in order for you guys to be drafted.

Last thing, I forgot to include something that was a lot of fun in MiniHULA. In that tournament, I created a Diamond in the Rough prize to be awarded to the player for whom the product of his or her draft order and total match wins is the highest. For example, a fourth round pick with 3 wins scores 12 DIR Points. In the event of a tie, the tie breaker will go to the person who beat people with the lowest sum of the draft orders of his opponents. This gives a little bit of recognition to the fourth and fifth round picks who start tearing it up. I'm going to pony up $10 for this prize.

All,

I forgot about another good option for play money HU play. Paradise has a large number of play money HU tables. The only problem is that they use a 1/3 blind structure instead of the traditional 1/2. This does make for some changes to perfect strategy, and I'd kinda like to keep things consistent. However, I think that the difference is small enough that I'll allow people to play on either Prima or Paradise play money tables.

I hope I'm not too late in telling you this, but I will most likely be driving around that time (Sunday 5pm) from Philly to CT. I am reachable by cell phone though if one of the other captains or wookie want to call me during the draft. I'll print out the list so you don't have to read it to me. House or wookie do you want to call me about this? PM me and I'll give you my cell #.

Hmmm. I think doing a draft by cell is going to be very difficult, esp. if you're driving. Maybe if you were riding in the car and had a list of the names, crossing them out as you go, it could work, but if you're driving, that would cause an accident. What about a 10 PM EST Monday draft?

lol

i work 0730-1530 sat and sun
1530-2330 mon and tues
2330-0730 wednite/thurs morn

and I cant do it while at work.

and someone else can have my cap'nship if they want it, i just volunteered if we needed another cap'n. I'll be happy to do it, just letting ya know.

If we can't get everyone together at once what if we just pass around the list. You send the list to whoever gets first pick, they pick and then send the list back to you and to whomever gets next pick until all the teams are full.

And I'm assuming the cap'n picking last gets two picks and then the list goes back up the line to first pick who chooses two and then starts the list back down.
