Positively Fifth Street error
Maybe I just somehow did all the wrong searches, but I came across a really, really silly error in Positively Fifth Street. If this has been discussed before and I did manage to miss it, please spam away to pump up your post counts.
Page 66, second full paragraph. McManus is all in in a satellite with black QQ against KTd. Flop is 7d 9d Jx. He says his opponent has 12 outs twice, nine diamonds, plus the last Q, plus two kings since the king of diamonds was already counted. Hello, is this a form of poker played with only three kings and no eights? The guy has 16 outs twice (9 diamonds, 3 eights, three kings, and the Qh). You don't double discount the Kd because it's in Hasan's bloody hand! Sheesh, I already sent them an email but I don't get how an error like this survived an author, an editor, and then more than one edition. |
