I need advice....
Earlier today Dustin Dirksen came onto a HU table at fulltilt that I was sitting on. He asked me to trade 18K at fulltilt for 18K at UB. I have met him once at the bellagio and I trust him and have no problem trading with him. He said he would transfer first (I would have transfered at the same time since I trusted him) and he sent me 18K on fulltilt. I responded by sending 18K to the UB account dustindirksen first name dustin.
Later today I was playing at stars and Johnsmiley (aka Dustin) came onto my table and said his account had been hacked and he was wondering if I recieved the money. I said yes and he gave him my IM. So I thought that sucks for dustin he got his fulltilt account broken into and someone created a fake UB account. So he says he is goign to work on the problem. Later in the day I find out that my fulltilt account has been suspended. I am pissed and send an email to tilt. I finally get this response. Hello Brian, Thanks for your email, and we apologize for the inconvenience of your account suspension. Please realize that with any situation like this, all accounts involved are to be suspended until the full investigation is complete. We believe that the funds were deposited into your account without your knowledge, or consent. As you are aware, your account has been reactivated, as we have completed our investigation into the recent unauthorized player to player transfer from Dustin Dirksen into your Poker account, sbrugby. We will be debiting $18 000 from your poker account some time in the near future and will be crediting that $18 000 to Dustin Dirksen's account. On a lighter note, I happened to catch your 1 outer against John Dagostino on the $50/$100NL HE just a few minutes ago. Nicely done sir. We wish you the best of luck in your coming poker sessions. What is my action now and what am I responsible for? I think I am in no way responsible for the missing 18K. Also Dustin I know you lurk this board so if you read this please IM or PM me.

Wow, that last part about the 1 outter just proves that they realise they are [censored] you over and are trying to justify it somehow. its clearly their problem and not yours. Not mkuch you can do unfortunately, other than speaking to dustin or have a fulltilt pro speak to the management there on your behalf.

If nothing works out, you could do one more thing. You are a good poster and a nice guy aba, so im sure if you rallied up 2+2 and got alot of posters to threaten to boycott ftp you might actually put enough pressure on them to do the right thing.

Why not have Dustin explain the situation and the trade to FT? That should clear it up, or he can always just give you back your 18k after they debit it.

First he says 18k will be removed from your account and then a "lighter note".wtf. I am sorry I dont really know what to say. Its good to trust people but I think you have to be more careful online. Hope it works out for you.
