Party Rebuy Glitch
In a WSOP $30+3 rebuy Satellite last night I was next to a player who was using a glitch in the software to rebuy while his chips were in the pot. He had 8,000 plus chips but kept pushing thus creating a zero balance for his chip stack until the hand ended. This was old news to some of the others at the table but I'd never played a rebuy at Party.
The rebuy nut was a maniac anyway and I ended up with more chips then him by the end of the rebuy period, me spending $90 while he spent + or -$300. I'm wondering if anyone exploits this or...would it be worth any time to report it if it hasn't already been. How could a decent player use this glitch to their (my!) advantage? I suppose one could use a kind of "Kill Phil" push style during the rebuy period then play a normal game after. Just asking what ayone else's experience has been. |

Re: Party Rebuy Glitch
It's well-known and widely used by a certain crowd.
Your strategy question should probably go in MTT. |

As far as strategy is concerned, be prepared to make 20 rebuys if you want a shot at the money. Regarding reporting it, I made a post about my experience reporting it and received nothing but flames. http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/sh...Number=6021477 |

Re: Party Rebuy Glitch
Same with me. I got flamed for not liking this (you can't rebuy if you're above 3K in chips, but if you START and END the hand with more than 3K, you can manage to squeek in a rebuy, but I'm an ass for disliking this I guess)
Party is aware and they call it a "feature" because it allows players to not have to "wait" to rebuy. I don't play their rebuys anymore. |
