Borgata expansion status?

Hey NJ people, what's the good word on the renovations to the poker room and the rest of the basement at the Borgata?

I'll be up at Borgata Jan 20-22 and will do a short trip report when I get back. My understanding is that the expansion gaming space will not be open until July 2006 at the earliest, though I could be wrong about that.

Just talked to a floor person Tuesday and they said construction was way ahead of schedule and it might be open in the Spring.

Poker room was scheduled to open early May. I was in dealer school last month and heard that recruitment was starting Feb. I should now if recruitment is going forward this week which would probably mean the room is on schedule. It feels like I have been waiting for this for 2 years..oh wait I have.
