WPEX : WSOP Tourneys
WPEX is offering "WSOP entries to the $1500 NLHE event".
Reading the rules they don't seem to offer any travel expenses or any pocket money. In fact, they just give you the $1500 into your account and say if you want to enter the event do it yourself, if you just want to keep the cash then just keep the cash. So it is basically a winner take all $1500 guaranteed tourney or am I missing something here? |

Re: WPEX : WSOP Tourneys
I suppoose the main difference from normal tournaments would be that in this case it's winner takes all...

Re: WPEX : WSOP Tourneys
The buy-in is $30(+$3).
Their page states: "Finish first in any of our WSOP tournaments and your entry will be guaranteed. WSOP NLHE entry= $1500 Remaining prize money in each event to be distributed: 60% to 2nd ..... 40% to 3rd After you win: How to register for the WSOP Funds will be in your account after your win. You will need to go to worldseriesofpoker.com/preregistration to register for your event. A player may win more than once. Funds placed in your account are yours. You may choose not to enter the tournament for which the entry was intended. WSOP Omaha8 and Stud8 events are coming in May! WPX reserves the right to change, alter or discontinue this promotion at any time." |
