Hi. I am going to be getting a new computer and I am selling my current one.

This is not nearly enough to remove all trace of data to the determined knowledgeable user. To be totally safe from someone recovering your username/passwords etc., remove the HD and sell the comp with a new, clean one, like this $30 will get you a new 20GB HD, and total peace of mind about the posibility of data recovery from your old HD. To scare yourself into understanding what kind of data recovery is possible, download the Forensic Tool Kit Demo, and see what can be found on a freshly formatted, "blank" hard disk drive. Paranoid maybe, but if you have $$$$ in neteller / poker sites / casinos, I believe it's worth taking every precaution with your data. dave. |

Use file shredder to all hard disks. After shredding you can reinstall operating system.
