Default drawing to flushes and straights

When is it proper to draw to straights and flushes? what are the odds of hitting a open ended straight or a flush in omaha because i know the odds are different than in holdem

You can think about it the same way you do in holdem, but just remember that there are 2 more known cards. So on the flop, you odds will be (outs/45) instead of being divided by 47 in HE.

...and you may have 347K on a A56 flop. So you have BETTER than an open ended draw.
