Laptop ---> Bigger monitor
I have an HP Pavilion dv6000 notebook (save your condolences if you don't like it). I want to play poker on a monitor larger than this 16" screen w/o having to buy a desktop computer. Can my laptop connect to a monitor (such as this)? If it can connect to some but not others like the 30 inches, what is the determining factor? I see what looks like a monitor connection on the side of my laptop but it doesn't look like any of those diagrammed in the Monitor FAQ thread.
If I didn't provide specifics tell me what else you need to know. Thank you in advance for any help |

Re: Laptop ---> Bigger monitor
yes you can connect to that monitor but resolution will really depend on what kind of video card and outputs you have.

Re: Laptop ---> Bigger monitor
Check for stats for the lappy on HPs site and see what the max resolution of the external monitor is. Without having to get more hardware that is what size monitor your laptop can drive.
