Hi there,
I had played a lot of FR before on Bodog and had been fairly successful. I then started playing $25NL 6-max on Bodog. I was pretty bad at it.. Decided that I was going to play on pokerstars to get some more experience and make myself more comfortable with 6 max since bodog only allowed 6 max on $25 and $100 (others as well). My stack started at $3. I had been playing pretty aggro, raising a lot in position and taking down post flop with a cbet. Villain was running 56/6/.5 I was running 18/9/2.6 PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $0.02 BB (6 handed) Poker Stars Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: 2+2 Forums) Hero ($5.09) CO ($4.21) Button ($1.78) SB ($3.05) BB ($2.87) UTG ($1.11) Preflop: Hero is MP with Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]. <font color="#666666">1 fold</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Hero raises to $0.06</font>, <font color="#666666">2 folds</font>, SB calls $0.05, BB calls $0.04. Flop: ($0.18) A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 5[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(3 players)</font> SB checks, BB checks, Hero checks. Turn: ($0.18) T[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(3 players)</font> SB checks, <font color="#CC3333">BB bets $0.06</font>, Hero calls $0.06, SB folds. River: ($0.30) A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font> <font color="#CC3333">BB bets $0.1</font>, Hero calls $0.10. Final Pot: $0.50 Thoughts? Thanks |

Re: d
raise turn to make flush draws/2pr pay. I think I raise the river, I can't see him getting away from any A.

Re: d
Sorry about the subject.
I didn't raise the turn because I figured if he was playing for a flush he had already gotten there. I suppose I should raise the turn to find out where I actually stand? |

[/ QUOTE ] Not so much to see where you're at as much as that you're ahead of his range and should maximize. Sure, he could have a flush, but he could have a flush draw, 2 pair, just a pair even. Raise and fold to a big re-raise. I'd call a small re-raise and then go for a small pot on the river, calling 1/2 pot, maybe 2/3 if I got a good feel. Bet out if checked to, especially if a blank hits. Don't bluff a 4th spade. |
