NL100: BB, T6s flops TP+FD. Line check please!
Villain is 40/4/0.5 over only 25 hands. Don't know if he is midstacking or just lost half of his BI. He seems too loose and rather passive.
I run at 18/12 so far. Full Tilt Poker, $0.50/$1 NL Hold'em Cash Game, 8 Players LeggoPoker.com - Hand History Converter Hero (BB): $91.60 UTG: $99 UTG+1: $49 MP1: $51.20 MP2: $105.95 CO: $112.50 BTN: $15.50 SB: $28 Pre-Flop: 6[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] T[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] dealt to Hero (BB) UTG folds, UTG+1 calls $1, 3 folds, BTN calls $1, SB folds, Hero checks Flop: ($3.50) 2[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] T[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 8[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (3 Players) Hero checks, <font color="red">UTG+1 bets $3</font>, BTN folds, <font color="red">Hero raises to $12</font>, UTG+1 calls $9 Turn: ($27.50) 4[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 Players) <font color="red">Hero bets $18</font>, UTG+1 calls $18 River: ($63.50) 7[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 Players) Hero ? (does not see any sense in betting out again as villain is commited anyway and we do not beat too much. I'd call a shove here though, agreed?) |

Re: NL100: BB, T6s flops TP+FD. Line check please!
river's a tough one... why exactly would you want to call a shove?
im not so sure i would c/r the flop.... did u expect villain to call or fold? I might just lead flop and turn because i don't want to get involved in a v.big pot OOP with a mediocre draw, which is what happened once you c/r'd the flop. Remember, it is possible the villain is drawing to a better flush so hitting that club could be a false friend. Keep it small so that if u miss the flush u can still get a cheap showdown w/ TPWK |

I think overbet shoving turn is the best play, given stack sizes.

SABR - for this type of scenario - would it be better to lead flop or check raise like this?
what about: lead flop and shove to reraise? or lead flop, call. shove turn? or is both bad and why? |
