Theoretical Blind defenses...
I feel that my NL blind play is probably far from optimal, so I'd like to open some discussion on it. So you are playing a typical 50NL game. You are in the one of the blinds and it is raised.. what do you do?
Give your 3betting and calling ranges for each of these scenarios (or raising range if limped to). Hero in BB (SB folds all unless noted) 1. 17/15/2.5 BTN opens for 4x 2. 10/8/4 BTN opens for 4x 3. 30/25/3.5 BTN opens for 4x 4. 40/7.5/.85 BTN minraises 5. 75/4.5/1 open limps BTN (what is raising range) 6. 20/15/2.5 opens UTG 4x, BTN cold-calls 7. 20/15/2.5 opens UTG 3x, SB calls 8. 65/5/1.5 open limps BTN, SB calls Hero is SB (give range to complete and range to raise) 9. unknown CO limps, unknown BTN over limps, BB is LP 10. 25/14/2.5 CO opens 3-4x 12. 40/8/1.5 BTN open limps 13. entire table limps to you 14. 35/10/2 UTG+1 minraises 15. 18/15/3.5 UTG raises 4x, 45/30/5 BTN min-3bets 16. 35/20/2.5 UTG raises 4x All of these situations are fairly common at 50NL (except for probably 13), and I'm curious to see everyone's ranges here. I'll prolly do a non-blinds one later... especially hands where you open in late position and get 3bet by a blind. |
