This is a hand that bothers me a bit. I usually raise TJs, but I figured I have little FE as MP3 likes to call any bets with any hands (he just doubled up when I raised big PF with a pocket pair and he flopped trips w 68o). The other two players seem solid.
I apologize for my awkward stack size - I deposited the minimum to clear my bonus, so I couldn't reload after losing a chunk a few hands earlier. SB's stats are 10/1/1.3 over 70 hands. I'm not sure what I beat here, as I guess someone with an AF of 1.3 would probably not CRAI a draw. The pot is getting big though, and I don't know what his range from the SB might be. Considering your stack, money is going in anyway.
With a full stack, iŽd call and hope to make my boat on the turn. Considering his stats, this is a set all the time -> I still wouldnŽt fold. |

I think checking the option preflop is best here regardless of stack size. JTs has tons of potential in a 5 way pot, and if you raise and someone's been tricky and raises over you, you have to let it go. 10/1/1.3 is pretty weak-tight IMO, and I might find a fold here. A 10/1/1.3 isn't completing with J2/T2 and I also don't think he's getting that aggro with KQ. It's still really tough to get away from, given your stack size. With a full stack, I probably fold here and go kick something.

Good points. Thanks!
If you say I shouldn't fold, would it be better to flat call and give the donks cheap odds, or should I raise like I did? I doubt I had any FE against SB, so I suppose its more of an isolation raise and if I should assume I'm behind then I'm just pricing out MP3 and CO... I've also thought about his aggression, since he is so tight 72 hands is probably not a very good measure for aggression, I mean he has played only a few hands. Even with a low aggression, is it common for nits to CR a set on a drawy board multiway? |

I'd rather play this hand against the SB than against more people. Hands like 89/KQ are certainly possible and I don't think we want to price these hands in. (I could be wrong about this, though). The sample size is small, but it's all we have to go on right now. Also, an AF of 1.3 is pretty damn passive given his vpip. PM me villain's name if you like. I think I know who it may be (not many people at 25NL run like this). It's true that he have just been on a weird run of cards that forced him to play like this over 70 hands, but I'd give him credit for a set and fold here.
