Is this am insta fold? usually a check raise on the flop at these levels is a hand but this kind of player and such a drawy board. |

I have a hard time seeing 2pr, or a set of 8's doing this. J's and Q's prolly re raise you preflop. It sucks that you have the Qh though, means he can't have tp/fd. Maybe he's got 9 10, or like K10h. I can't see what we're ahead of except like Q10 or K10. I think this is a fold

Has he check-raised the flop in any of the previous hands, or even just raised in position? If I haven't seen him take this line before (he just bets or folds) then maybe I can let it go but with his stats if I've seen him raise flop c-bets even a few times in 50 hands I would just shove. Given the preflop action I think you can rule out AA-QQ and discount JJ, so I think you are really only in horrible shape against 88 or 9T, and if his range can be much much wider than that.
