Down which path must I go ?
I'm a EU-player and I have evaluated a bunch of online sites and deposited and withdrawn money from them. I invested in Pokertracker , PAHud and Calculatem Pro.
I tried SNGs which I like very much and in the beginning i won a lot of them, but then again I don't run great anymore. Cash games are good too , been playing 5k hands on 0.02-0.04 and 0.05-0.1 Full ring on Party and am winning at approx. 2BB/100. But now I feel like I have to choose a path. Do I focus on cash or SNGs. My bankroll is super low atm - I started out at 20$ and i'm at 50 right now. The SNGs at Party start at 3$ Buy-in so that seems a little too steep. Any advice on what to choose ? I went to check out Titan Poker too , so I'm really confused in where to go next. |

Re: Down which path must I go ?
I built up to $500 or so playing $5 SnG's at party (until I could afford PokerTracker etc) and then migrated to cash games.
I think in the long run cash games is where it's at, but you are probably rolled OK for Party $3 SnG's to be honest as the play is so horrible that your edge should be enough to avoid significant risk of ruin. Nothign wrong with just playing micro-stake cash games either mind you. As for Titan, ipoker is a good network to start off on - lots of games and bad players..and rakeback and bonuses aren't so important at low stakes so signing up for a site like Titan (where they aren't so good anyway) but ona good network (so you can move to clear good bonuses and RB later and already have stats on the opposition) isn't a bad idea.. |

Re: Down which path must I go ?
Cash games have been more profitable for me.

Re: Down which path must I go ?
If one is substantially more profitable for you, go that route.
Otherwise go with the one you enjoy - the more fun you're having, the more likely you are to put the time in necessary to get good. |
