Re: KTo AKQ board bb vs sb
i'd call preflop with these stacks. if i reraised i always check this flop.
when you get to where you did, what are you getting like 3.5-1? ehhhhh i guess you have to call and hope he has A5. |

Re: KTo AKQ board bb vs sb
First, why would you 3bet PF in position with a decent hand? I don't understand that at all.
As for the flop, I mean surely you had to know that a CRAI was a possibility. I think the cbet was a mistake, which further compounded your PF mistake. You're getting almost 3:1 on this call, and you do have the gutshot, and a K is probably good. I don't think your T is good at all, as I think on average he has 2 pair or something like AJ where your kicker makes him a straight or a better 2 pair or something. I'd guess you have 5 outs or so, with the times you are crushed cancelled out by the times he has something like A9 which gives you a few more outs. Maybe 5-6 outs, but I think 6 is overly generous. I think you have to call now, but I feel like a bigger point here is that this spot was entirely unavoidable. |

Re: KTo AKQ board bb vs sb
I admit i put myself in an awkward situation pre- and postflop, but i was only asking if i shoulda called or not.

Re: KTo AKQ board bb vs sb
has he been doing this a lot? do you really want to get nuts with K 10 here? I also check behind on this flop...what were you planning to do when he did his standard check raise?

Re: KTo AKQ board bb vs sb
well, i took my timebank and decided to go and gamble. I rivered the J and got berated harshly. Think i made my mistakes earlier but had to call here. He folded the previous hand vs shortstack w 1:8 odds. ('moron' by asiandude in chat) So i figured he was bad enuff to shove w Q7 here.
Oh, he had A9. |
