3 bet pot, whats the eplan? 1/2
COnverter wont work for me
6 handed, 234 effective stacks UTG 1 raises to $7, I re raise on the button to $24 with QJ98 double suited, clubs and spades BB with $65 cold calls and utg calls. Flop is 8 5 2, with one spade. They both check to me, whats my plan? Main villain is 68/10/0.59 over 154 hands, flop aggro of 1.37 turn 7 river 7, its low because of 0.15 preflop |

I believe you have to keep up the aggression with a PSB here. I think its important for a lot of reasons, but also to keep up appearances. Flop - Cbet psb. I would be happy to see SB shove and hopefully we weed out UTG1. You're Cbet might even get UTG1 to fold out KKxx or something along those lines. Overall, I like a psb on flop.

Re: 3 bet pot, whats the eplan? 1/2
I would take the freecard and definitely not shove. With $40 or so left, the BB is going to get all his money into the pot with any hand, most of which are dominating you.
If you take the freecard and hit a Q / T / 8 or something then you might be good, but don't go throwing money into a situation where you'll definitely get called by a better hand. |

You are only slightly behind an overpair here usually, sometimes even ahead. |

[/ QUOTE ] Even if you are not dominated by the BB, there's a pretty good possibility that someone with 55 is waiting for the RRer PF to bet the flop, or UTG with his far better hand will stick around or something. If it were just the BB then an argument can be made for putting him all in if you don't mind coming from far behind, but he's got other players to worry about. I would still take the free card, as nitty as I am. |
