Sustainable ROI for $11 turbo 180-mans
Two questions: what is considered a decent sample size for these tournaments in particular, and who has played enough of them to have an ROI that a skilled turbo player should be able to attain. Is 100% unrealistic?
So far I've played 96 of them and have an ROI of slightly over 93% but I'm not sure if I'm running below or above my expectation because while I've gotten 3 firsts I have had poor results in other ones once I've made the final two tables. Obviously the game plan is to play more of them and see what happens but I was just looking for a somewhat accepted ROI that good 2+2ers are achieving in these. Thanks. |

mods feel free to move or lock this if it isn't an appropriate place to ask, but I figured these are fairly similar to small stakes mtts

Re: Sustainable ROI for $11 turbo 180-mans
When they first came out some regular posters thought ~80% might be sustainable for the best of players, IIRC.

Re: Sustainable ROI for $11 turbo 180-mans
Over 169 of them I've gotten 103%. However, I don't think I'm a very skilled player. I've done calculations, and I think that with about 90% confidence my actual ROI is between 0 and 200%.
I'm trying to figure out what to do from now on. I seem to by so much more successful at these than anything I've ever tried before. (I usually get around 20% ROI at smaller, lower buyin SNG turbos.) I guess I'll continue playing these for a while to get a better idea of my ROI. I think the post with the ROI discussion is here: http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/sh...umber=11884452 |

what ROI is sustainable with multi tables? [/ QUOTE ] That's in the FAQ and I'm pretty sure 100% is sustainable for someone who is good. But honestly, ROI is kinda silly to think about when what you really care about is $/hour. |

Re: Sustainable ROI for $11 turbo 180-mans
mwalsh...all I can say is that I play a lot of them and it has been very profitable for a while now...won 4 or 5 and Fted 10 more or so...volume is critical early...recognizing edges and lack of fear to be a pushbot late are essential...also a bankroll that can weather swings...when I get late I usually make top 3 by outplaying...
