Re: NL 50 Betting less on turn?
I would have bet 10, but at that point it's splitting hairs.

Re: NL 50 Betting less on turn?
My goal would have been to get his stack in by the river if he has AQ or some worse ace. 12 is a bit strong, I might have tried 9-10 and then push the river, but who knows if this would have made any difference really.
I think I might have bet slightly more on the flop. It's dry, but I want to start building a pot and if he has AQ he'd be hard pressed to fold for 5 say. I can't see checking here to induce a bluff from lower pocket pairs unless you were pretty sure that's what he has and he would bluff with it. |

Re: NL 50 Betting less on turn?
Turn bet is fine, but bet more on the flop. There are a lot of players who will call a flop bet, but fold when the second barrel is fired. If they have something, they'll stick around...if they're calling with nothing, chances are if they'd call a half pot bet, they'd call something larger. (Others may have had different experience).

Re: NL 50 Betting less on turn?
I would make flop bet to 5$. As played, 10 on the turn.
