I can at least see where thomas' equity is coming from but not Benyamine's (as slight favorite). In NLHE top set vs made straight the equity is quite different: pokenum -h kh kc - th qc -- 9c jd kd Holdem Hi: 990 enumerated boards containing 9c Kd Jd cards win %win lose %lose tie %tie EV Kc Kh 341 34.44 640 64.65 9 0.91 0.349 Qc Th 640 64.65 341 34.44 9 0.91 0.651 |

Re: top set vs straight vs gutshot+NFD 3 way ai on flop equity Q
It is no different from holdem - why did you leave the third hand out of the HE calculation? If you run KK vs AdTd vs QT in the HE simulation you will get very close to the same answers.
basically, if the KK hits he is guaranteed to win, while the QT needs to hit runner runner blanks. |
