Why not raise the the turn?
Why did u bet the river? Was it a blocking bet? |

[/ QUOTE ] I was trying to pot control at the turn, becuase it kinda felt like the his raíse came from a pretty strong hand. Also the stuff I'm ahead of are not very likely to improve (unless he's being a weirdass with a flushdraw). The river bet works as a blocking bet yeah, since the flush got there he'll have a hard time raising me with stuff that had me beat on the turn. |

Re: NL50 unraised pot, twopair faces turn aggression
you have to take into account that he had to post his blind in the CO and then checked. if he had AQ surely he would have raised from cutoff so q isnt anything to worry about on river. A9 would have raised flop imo, so all i can imagine him having is A2 or flopped set, with A2 being more likely. the min raise i have found is normally a bluff at these levels. so many times i used to fold to them but no i just call or raise them and lead out next round. min raises shouldnt be respected that much

Re: NL50 unraised pot, twopair faces turn aggression
Pot the flop. Pot the turn. Shove the river. You have to try and make this pot as big as you can on the flop. You are trying to build as big as a pot as possible. The pot grows exponentially.

Re: NL50 unraised pot, twopair faces turn aggression
guys, are we totally oblivious to the fact that the flush makes on the river? If this guy is posting his hand he is probably going to far with a flush draw as well.
