3/6 I take a weird line with a flopped set, thoughts?
Villain is THE_END_IS_NEAR, who is a LAGy reg, and I posted a hand that I played vs him yesterday for those who read it. This hand happened a little later in the session. My thinking for the hand was that by c/ring the flop with one still to act I'm basically announcing that I have a huge hand, and I know he's capable of double barreling if he thinks I'm weak. On the turn, It looks like he has a set/AK/AQ/AJ or a bluff, and while I don't think he's folding AQ/AJ to a c/r right here, I think he can get away from AK pretty easilly, and he obviously folds all his bluffs. I opt to check the river because I think he will value bet AK given the action pre/postflop, and will often fire a third barrel with nothing because in his mind, I can't really have that strong a hand here. Before people flame me for playing my hand this way, I just want to say that this is COMPLETELY UNSTANDARD for me......I just want to see if people agree with my thinking here.

I think a turn cr is probably best because the Q made 2pair hands, and I do not see him 3barreling ai because there was no draw on the flop. CRing the turn gives him a chance to make a mistake at least

I like it, I would expect him to be more likely to bet the river for value himself with AK than to call a bet if you randomly led the river.

agreed.
your line isn't bad tbh, the problem is your taking a chance that a river K or T will either have u beat or kill your action |

i like it because hands like this will make him a little more hesitant to 3 barrel you in the future

Yea as I said, this is completely unstandard but I'm pretty sure his value betting range is wider than his calling range if I shoved turn/river given how this hand played out, and this seems like the perfect board for him to 3 barrel with air if he chose to do so. Also, if you were villain here what would you be putting me on? I instacalled flop bet to confuse him a little, but I'm not sure if he noticed.
