Logging In bug
When going to login by clicking the "login" button, I have to mouse over to the "Login Name" field rather than my cursor automatically jumping there. This is frustrating and slows down the login process. It seems most sites that take you to a page where you need to enter information automatically take you to the first input field box. For example, when you go to google.com, the input cursor jumps over to the search box so you can immediately start typing and not have to mouse over.
Why is this not done in 2p2? I'd imagine that it's a pretty quick and simple fix, and I can't imagine why you wouldn't want the cursor to automatically jump over for you. It's this way for me in both Firefox and IE, and across several different computers, so I don't think its a user error on my part. |

NU Star,
So now we're describing writing a 2000 word post about something that happens once every two weeks and is a minimal hassle as being nitty, huh? Oh wait yeah, never mind. |

Re: Logging In bug
In case Mat & Co actually want to implement the change, here's how:
<body onload="document.Loginform.Loginname.focus();"> <form name="Loginform" method="post" action="http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/start_page.php"> <input type="text" name = "Loginname" class="formboxes" /> Now if only we could get those cookies to expire slower so we wouldn't have to log in every 3 minutes... |
