Re: semi bluff question
no read on BB? Maybe I'm missing something but seems like an easy check behind. In general I think I'd rather bet something like 77 here than JT.

Re: semi bluff question
To me, his is like the ideal place to fire a second (and maybe third) barrel: BB may fold a better hand (Kx, 44, 89, etc) and we have enough equity that being CR'd is far from a disaster. If we ck behind we're wussing out and inviting BB to either steal the pot from us by betting the river OR to induce and snap with any pair.

However, in the heat of battle, I usually just focus on whether the villain will fold 9x on the turn or not. If he will, then Im betting. If he wont, then Im checking. |

Re: semi bluff question
I have no idea how these higher limit games play and how wide your opening range is here. However it seems to me that there are many better hands that will have a hard time continuing, not many that can raise an EP opener, and the times we have to put two bets in on the turn we're still not in terrible shape.

Re: semi bluff question
I rarely play 50/100 but I think its a clear bet. You aren't getting an A to fold but the Q isn't a good card is someone has just a 9 or a small pocket pair. Your position is in your favor and you only need to fold out a better hand roughly 20% of the time for this to be profitable.
