can i fold this?
im willing to put it allin on the flop (is that ok? i have a pretty bad equity vs set of 4s for example..(33%))
on the turn he surprises me and im sick... I called it but i think it was a very bad call was it? I have only 25% or sth. against a set and i think this will be a set so often... How would you have played it? Re: can i fold this?
Call call call and call... no way you should fold on turn. On flop I like to call and use position, but a raise is also fine.

Re: can i fold this?
call, if you are behind aces and kings might be outs as well.
I also prefer a bigger 3-bet on the flop. |

Re: can i fold this?
Call or raise flop depending on your read, but you have to call the turn as played. It could never be a huge mistake but could be a fair bit +EV if you look at the ranges he may have.

Re: can i fold this?
I would've led bigger on flop into a push on the 3-bet.

Re: can i fold this?
both the bet and the 3-bet looks small for me, any particular reason for that? do you generally cont bet drawy boards like this with a 70% cont bet ~100bb deep?

Re: can i fold this?
i think i would have just called the flop raise. you're getting direct odds to draw and you avoid something like this where i cant you're ahead when he overbets the turn. also make it like 45 on the flop. villain clearly likes his hand and id say you have about 14 1/2 outs on average (9 for flush + 3 for straight + aces and kings half the time) and that's being generous to assume 2 pair will be good half the time. people advocating shoving the flop, what do you think his range is that hes wiling to get it all in with on the flop and why dont we want to take a free card getting better than 3:1 with stacks left to play for?

Re: can i fold this?
you had a few ways to play this and it was determined on the flop. once you bet on flop you must get it all in if villain wants to. infact, i think you shoulda just shoved flop and saved a head ache.
otherwise, you could have just checked behind on flop. |

Re: can i fold this?
Yes, isn't a flop push standard in these spots against unknowns?
btw, his hand doesn't just look like a set or an overpair - could be a worse flush draw or KJ/J9 or a combo. W/e I call turn in a flash. |
