It feels weak but doesn't look like villain shows up with much I beat if I get called, but I can maybe get some of his worse hands to bet the river? This is sort of a weird spot. |

Re: 100NL: Flopped btm 2 otb, ugly turn
IME villain will call another bet with AQ. I don't think the K changes anything. I think he would have still 3 bet KK and I doubt a player this nitty in the sb would have called with KQs even very often.

Ok, I think AQ is a big big part of his calling range on flop and preflop. I think I b/f here.
Also, I've seen neilso posted it a few times, how do you find 3 bet %. My searching skills suck and if you could link me/tell me i'd be very appreciative. Sorry for the hijack. |

b/f is bad. the only hand which dominates us is QQ/KK.

bet, he won't c/r with worse but he'll call with worse and if he c/r then you can fold.

Re: 100NL: Flopped btm 2 otb, ugly turn
hmm, reading my first reply again, i think spivey and I are thinking on a 2nd level. What does he think you are double barreling with here? I think it might be a poorly played AK and JJ and we still have to bet. I think we can discount the 88 and 99 enough b/c we hold each of one, and there are one of each on the board (leaving 2 combos of sets, if we discount QQ).
I think we double barrel here and fold to a river bet. |

You have a FD - how is that a bad turn card. Easy bet/call

Re: 100NL: Flopped btm 2 otb, ugly turn
I guess I overlooked the FD, and at the time I thought the only reasonable draw was JT, which got there, but looking back that's not in his range. This isn't quite as interesting as I made it out to be.
I should have bet, but I checked behind. I called a 2/3 pot bet on a blank river and was shown JJ, good call Heine. |
