Kelly Criterion Calculator in excel?
http://www.smartcapper.com/tool_kell...alculator.html
Is it possible to code that into an excel file? I'm using quarter kelly now, would be of less hassle if I have it in my spreadsheet. Thanks in advance. |

Thanks in advance. [/ QUOTE ] Kelly in Excel Fill in the grey parts only. In "Kelly Type", Full Kelly is 1, fractional Kelly is 0.5, 0.25 and so on. I am using Open Office so I am not 100% sure it works, feedback welcome. |

Ganchrow, I wrote that, and yes, yours is much better, seeing as how I rarely make just one bet.
Oh, and if you read this, consider adding an option to put in a $ amount for your bankroll. This way I don't have to calculate this by hand! It's a pain in the ass. |

The number of places after the decimal point will dictate the precision of the solution. So if you enter a starting bankroll of "10,000.0000", the output will go to 4 decmimal places. |

Amazing. I'm a retard. Thanks.
I guess what I was also looking for is a way to see the percentages and dollar amounts at the same time, although I can just go to 100% if I want to do that. |
