In some other threads here, I've noticed a few Braves' fans expressing their hatred of Bobby Cox, who seems pretty revered by those who don't watch him on a daily basis. And I can personally attest that there are countless Mets fans who think Willie Randolph is a moron, not to mention many Yankees fans who've been hoping Joe Torre would be fired for quite a while.
This really makes me wonder whether there are any active baseball managers who are actually popular with their fans. Can you think of any managers who have been with their team for at least 2-3 years (thereby avoiding the honeymoon syndrome) and are well-liked by a clear majority of their teams' fan base? |

Tito helped bring a WS to Boston, so I like him.

yea, the hate for coz is really weird for me to understand, he seems like he's a very good at what he does (of course, that gm schuerholz deserves a lot of credit), but he gets the job done every year...weird

As far as the past few Reds managers have gone, I like interim Mackanin just fine at the moment. He's at least given the team some confidence since that fool Narron left. Now if only we could get rid of Krivsky.

Eric Wedge is fine. He routinely insults people who tell him that he needs to sacrifice bunt or steal more.
