Re: 33 on button, flop bottom set
I'm calling Villain's bet on the river and not raising after he caps the turn. His call of your raise and then him 4-balling the turn screams 66.

Re: 33 on button, flop bottom set
one less bet is all. kq is 9 combos. 66 is 3 combos. although we would all be more likely to raise kq preflop, a lot of other players will raise 66 in this spot. i wouldnt discount either based on his turn cap.

Re: 33 on button, flop bottom set
Once he bets the river the only hand that makes sense for him is the other small set, but you call anyway because he might think his KQ is good here.
Edit: I like the way he played the flop here, but I think he should have led out on the turn. In these small pots I like the thought of trying to keep the caller in between two raisers. |

Re: 33 on button, flop bottom set
Miles, you say raise/call the river?
I doubt villain raises 66 from the SB here, so it's definitely possible. I doubt KQ ever raises either. Meh. Even hands like K6 are possible, even 63 sooted. I like raise/call. |

Re: 33 on button, flop bottom set
I have been playing super aggressive and has been paying off before this hand. I put him on KQ because I wouldn't slow play the flop with flush draw on board (my mistake, shouldn't assume people play like me). I guess I put in to many bets on the river. I don't think I'm ever gonna not auto-cap the turn though.

Re: 33 on button, flop bottom set
fold pf, and don't get raped
If I do raise the river, just call the 3bet, capping is bad. and i do raise the river here most of the time. |
