I hate flop 3-bets

Seems decent but are basically unknown.
Is it too weak to lay this one down?
If not isn´t a free showdown play best since we must be able to fold to a 3-bet on turn?

Does anyone just call the flop donk and reevaluate after turn?

better question is what to do if the turn bricks off. I think you can raise in that case

hmmm. Its close. He has a pretty high aggression factor, so I can see him trying to power through you with a 9 with a worse kicker here. I call down, but I think it is close to a fold when the diamond comes on the turn and he still doesn't seem at all worried.

strong line from villain but he has a worse 9 or somesuch enough of the time to call down imo

I don't think we can raise a turn brick given his b/3b flop line

Well he's 29/10 and he donked into the PFR HU so I'm not sure that he's a lot like us. I donk very rarely, if ever, in this spot. It's hard to put him on a range (sets, flush draws, TP) but consider that your hand is very similar to black aces here. And you're not folding that.

no. fsdr implies checking behind river. you have too much hand for that to be right.

But I do sometimes bet out PP Trips here against aggro TAG:s.
If we still are considering he is a decent player what hands are we ahead of?

I like to do this as well once in a while. On the flop I will donk and call a 3-bet with a set against an aggro TAG and then check-raise the turn.
